He made a big play, obviously, last week blocking the kick to extend overtime. Then finishing the play today basically was the signature play of the game.

He has a lot of great things ahead of him. He's been trained by the best, and I think his best times are close ahead.

You can't worry about instinct. You have to do what you feel is right at the time, do your homework and make the calls. You have to live with the calls you make and if your heart is in it, at least you feel good at the end of the night, no matter what happens.

I think every year there are dark horses that jump onto the scene. It's just facts. I don't believe anybody thought we were going to do it either. That's just this game.

The throw he makes to Galloway with the division title on the line says a lot about what a clutch performer he is. That wasn't a slant or a wide flare, that was a 44-yard throw that landed right on the screws. He got hit a lot, and we had some balls batted down. He's got great resolve.

I think we have beaten some pretty darn good football teams and have been fairly consistent throughout the year. We've got a talented defense. We have a good running game and we are looking forward to seeing what we can do. Every year there are dark horses that jump onto the scene.

Every week they hear this is such a big game. I think they're used to hearing it's a big game.

We know Washington's red hot ... smoking hot, man.

It was the logical thing to do. The ball wasn't at the two-yard line; it was at the one. And we had previous success at the goal line (in that game). Fortunately for us it all worked out.

He's been unbelievable in terms of his mission, his vision of getting better and learning this system. He's a guy who not only has talent, he has tremendous self-motivation and drive.

You want to take this seriously. This is why we play the game. This is why we play the regular season, so you get to compete for a championship. We've got a lottery ticket and we have an opportunity. Let's see what we do with it.

It's an award he's obviously earned. It's a reflection of him and his family, the kind of worker he is. But it also reflects our team. He's got a lot more awards coming if he keeps doing what he's doing. I promise you that.

I don't address that anymore. We did what needed to be done. People make mistakes. We move on. We forgive.

I'm really happy for him, proud of him. It's a credit to him and his hard work. This guy is a special talent, a special kid. Hopefully, he's got a lot more great days ahead.
