I never thought I would say I won a tournament with my head, ... Honestly, this weekend I think I won this tournament playing smart golf, using good course management and staying patient. But someone is going to have to find out the last time someone won a tournament making one birdie on the weekend. That may not have happened before in the history of golf.

I could hit 100 bunker shots and not hit that one that close again, ... I jumped out of there, saw that it was a foot from the hole and [playing partner] Craig Barlow was clapping and I don't know how I did that. I walk around the corner and Jesper looks at me and says, 'How the hell did you do that?' It was unbelievable. I mean, I could go out there 'til dark and not hit one that close again. It was huge and just part of a whole week of good things, good saves that I made.

I am territorial, ... I won in Phoenix three times, the Honda twice [in Florida] and now in Vancouver twice, so seven of my 12 wins have come in three places. Why, I don't know.

I really never honestly thought I would win again, let alone on a golf course like this. I have my moments when I'm pretty good, but I have a lot of self doubt and a lot of demons that are floating around inside my head.

I honestly never thought I'd win again let alone a tournament this big. I'm just unbelievably happy. I still can't believe it.

This is changing my year-end plans a little,

The Vancouver course had a ton of trees, small greens, deep rough, ... I anticipate the same sort of thing at Harding, from what I've heard.

I actually like that, because then it feels like everyone is on a level playing field, ... As the week goes along, you learn the course a little more. It's kind of fun going to play somewhere I've never played before.

Brenda [his wife] told me from the day she met me, you have it, just your little brain gets in the way. It happens to a lot of guys; the things we think about out there pretty much freak you out.
