We are still young, but at the same time we are experienced. Most people think of young as being inexperienced, and that's not the case here.

It's tough when your No. 2 starter goes down, and you trade the most popular guy in the clubhouse. A lot of things happen over the course of the year. Hopefully, good things will happen.

But if I swing at better pitches, my whole game will be better.

I think we have to feel good. We started the season playing pretty poorly all around. To be where we are right now, we can't complain.

I've noticed we've been going after hitters a lot more this year, and throwing more strikes, and it's shown in our success. It's been nice. Any time the pitching staff is doing that better and more consistently, there's a lot less pressure on the offense going in.

When he gets hot, he can carry a team for a long time.

He is a guy that is capable of carrying his team with his bat. He kind of gets hidden in our lineup. He is in a zone right now, and when you get that way, you want to keep on playing.

It's just about being in the zone, in any sport, be it football, basketball or baseball.

He probably saved two or three runs. If he doesn't make that play, I think the game is ours.
