I think he got a little frustrated and got out of his rhythm, but he settled back in and the last couple innings he threw well. Hopefully this will get him going.

You get people in scoring position and don't get them in, that's frustrating. But it's not as frustrating as walking seven. We were behind hitters all night long. We're better than that.

You leave him alone to a certain extent, but the work is still there to be done. We've had a couple of meetings with Adrian, just talking with him and trying to reassure him and bolster his confidence.

I don't care how long you've been doing this or how successful you've been in this game you have periods during the season where your confidence is not what it should be.

I'm not worried about Adrian. I believe in this guy. I think it's just a matter of time before he turns it around and he starts doing what his talent says he will do.

We've just got to find a way to get Adrian going. And days off this early in the season I don't think are helpful.

I don't do this to be vindictive or to punish someone. I do it to get Adrian on track because we need him to be the player his talent says he can be. And I think he will.

It's the first time he has done that so I would think it's an aberration. He has pitched very well for us so far. It was one of those nights.

You can't say anything. You can't tell him, 'Good job.' You can't tell him, 'Keep your head up.' It's one of the things that's going to happen. It's not fun for the person watching or the person going through it. You have to turn the page and move on.

Are there things we can help with? There are. Will we? Yeah. We probably already have.

Allowing him get to third base in the first place wasn't a real building block, but J.J. did a great job. He got a big strikeout against one of the best hitters in the league in Teixeira. Being able to keep that run from scoring, obviously, was huge. It was a big lift for us. It turned out to be a key part of why we won the game.
