Three for nine sounds better, huh? I would say the reason is that I have started to prepare better for these tournaments and that I am in better control of my game now.

As much as I want to be part of the history of this tournament and of this great game of golf, what I really try to do is prepare my best for each and every event. I don't think about leaving a legacy.

The stress-free walk up 18 was incredible. I had been wanting that. I had actually been wanting a four- or five-shot lead, but three was OK, too.

Since I was a kid, I've dreamed of winning this tournament. Here I've got a chance, and to have stuff like that occur that affects the outcome of an event is very upsetting. A photographer should not affect the outcome. Fortunately, I ended up hitting a decent shot.

It was unnerving to watch those guys go out there and make birdie after birdie, but I knew I had those holes, too, and if I was patient and [didn't] make mistakes, I could win.

The stress free walk up 18 was incredible. It was a great feeling walking up there knowing I had the tournament in hand. I will cherish that final round and look back at some of the shots that I was able to pull off and some of the putts that I was able to make.

I don't really want to trade next year. But I certainly enjoyed having the jacket put on me rather than putting it on [someone else].

I just think he's really a terrific person as well as a great player. And I really enjoy being around him.

I would say it probably happened when I started to prepare better for tournaments. I started to play a little differently, control my ball flight, control my putting. I think it started with the win here in 2004.

It was a huge help. I needed the new driver to combat the added length here at Augusta.

As much as I want to be part of history, of the history of this tournament and part of the history of the game, it's not something I dwell on. Starting tomorrow, we'll start preparing for Winged Foot.

I look back on the old Masters highlights and I watched some things that I've done, and I've learned from those experiences. It's taken me time and years of seeing what's worked well and what hasn't.

Lucas Glover is going to be just an incredible talent.
