In the third period of back-to-back games, I don't know if they really had the energy to take advantage of the power play. We talked about if we pushed the pace, there's a good chance we'll draw penalties tonight.

We lost a little bit of our discipline in the third period and ended up having to kill some, too, but the first two periods, we stayed really disciplined. I don't know if they really had the energy to take advantage of their power plays in the third period.

They worked really hard. It was a battle. Fortunately, our power play was clicking and we got the job done.

Whenever we play L.A., we look at their stats and they're one of the most penalized teams in the league. They play hard all the time, right on the edge. So you've got to expect to get power plays. I didn't like either one of those goals. I've seen this happen before, the floodgates open so I stepped in to try and stop it.

They end up scoring to make it 4-0 and there goes your energy.

The players have to step up on the ice and play. They have to work as a group.

We took a couple of bad penalties at the end and it cost us big-time.

We had an opportunity to jump on a loose puck in our end and we didn't. Then we got a little tired in the end and didn't know what was going on around us.
