That's definitely cool. I read some of the stats of what the history was with Sam Ard doing it, and it's pretty cool.

It's clear that Jarrett's actions were intentional, ... Just look on my rear bumper â€” it's obvious that is UPS brown paint. Just as in the criminal world, Jarrett's intent makes him fully culpable for his actions. Lucky for him, I'm still battling for a spot in the Chase. Otherwise, he could expect a damaged car and/or a damaged face.

I think it was tamer than last year, if that's any precedent to go off of.

That was the most conscious I've been (of position) driving a car since this race last year.

This special edition Z21 NASCAR Ranger boat is really cool. Some lucky winner is going to be very happy with it. I think that Kurt is a good guy. I think Kurt is an excellent driver and he's proved that by winning a championship. I think the situation I've had with Rusty (Wallace) in the past, having a teammate that at least isn't working against me will be a definite benefit.

Like I said, I'm better off having a teammate that doesn't even talk to me or does anything than one that works against me, and that's what I've had to deal with the last five years.

[So, what penalties were given to Jarrett? He had to serve a two-lap penalty for rough driving. Is it enough? It is pretty much a guarantee that a top ten finish isn't going to happen. This close to the close of the Chase, every position means something. So, although not a harsh punishment, it was fitting. What do the other drivers think about what Jarrett did? Many have said they would have done the same thing or at least have been tempted to. Evidently they felt that Jarrett was justified. I don't think Harvick or Newman would agree though.] Mine was unintentional and his was intentional and that's all I'm saying, ... NASCAR can do what they want with it.

That's pretty cool making the 'Chase' for the second consecutive season, ... It wasn't the performance we wanted, but we got part of the main goal solved today. I look forward to those last ten races. We'll keep working on this Dodge and see how we can do.

Obviously, we're not happy about being 10th, but we've got 10 races to get into first.
