Being Giants manager means being under pressure not to lose 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

I had the impression that he wasn't 100 percent and that he was having a tough time.

Would I put him in? Certainly.

I'm 100 percent sure. I spoke to him recently and told him we really want him to be a part of our team.

I don't know about the politics, but since it's named the World Baseball Classic, I would like to see the Cuban team there.

They will miss something special, but there is a problem with timing. March is a time most players are preparing for the start of their season. We will have to look at that for next time.

I want the players to play when they are in good condition. I was thinking about summer, when football's World Cup is held - also November, but I don't think that will do.

In the future, I hope to have this Classic as the football World Cup, something many more countries can join.

Since it is named the World Baseball Classic, I would like to see Cuba, too. But I don't know much about the details of the politics.
