We did a lot of good things right. We just couldn't keep up with them.

This isn't the NCAA tournament, but at least we have a chance to keep playing. Our situation is not that dissimilar to Minnesota. We both struggled once we got into conference play.

In this league, like the Big Ten, weaknesses are exposed. We lost a lot of close games because we had no margin for error.

I'm very excited to have the opportunity to continue playing. Minnesota is an outstanding team in one of the great conferences. It will certainly be a challenge for us, especially playing at Williams Arena, but it beats getting ready for the opening day of baseball.

We couldn't throw the ball in to Eric. We kept throwing the ball out of bounds.

I thought we had good practices and good preparation. To say that I think would denigrate what Minnesota did. I'm not going to do that.

It was a combination of our mistakes and their defense. We couldn't throw the ball inside. We threw it to them or out of bounds repeatedly and it really hurt us.

Lots of the things we did poorly all season came back to fruition. We didn't give ourselves a real chance in the first half. We just did not play as sharply as we needed to play in order to win.

Given we don't return a lot of experience will be challenging. But it's not a challenge we're shying away from. It's actually one we're looking forward to.

There's no question it's a different approach. Any dreams we have of the NCAA Tournament are totally dependent on what we do in Greensboro. We're cognizant of that, and there's no question the approach is 180 degrees different.

He's an excellent, excellent player. To hold him to 6-for-16 and 1-for-4 from 3s was more about our guarding ability and our ability to limit him to one shot.

Offensively and defensively, it starts with the point guard. It has been a revolving door at that position for us all season, which has led to a revolving door at the off-guard position. But we don't win the game either [Thursday] or [Friday] without taking care of the basketball, and that's been primarily Justin's responsibility.

Justin picking up his fourth foul was not a good thing for us. In the first half, he hit those three 3s which gave us the momentum to take the lead.
