I don?t think it?s an upset either way. When you are paired up eight and nine, you are truly the two teams the NCAA Committee feels are balanced in terms of matching up that first day. The winner is going to win, and that?s the way it?s going to be.

We probably could have done a better job of trying to find ways to get him the ball. But they really honed in on him. They chased him pretty good on screens. We he got a little bit open somebody would rotate on him pretty good. Late in the game he tried to take things over and make some plays — and he did. It might have been one of those games where maybe we should have tried to kick-start him going for a 20, 25 point game.

He is a handful. Chris has played very well in most of their big games. I feel in some ways that I've got one of the best defensive centers in the country in my team in Steven Hill. I know Chris is going to be hard to stop, but he's going to face a kid that relishes defense, relishes shot blocking, relishes shutting somebody down. And if he (Chris) does well, it's going to be because he earned it.

We practiced this morning at the University of Dallas.

McNaughton is a handful. Steven is going to have to make him earn everything. He's going to have to do a good job of making him work to get his points.

Steven fell awkwardly and tweaked his back. He had a sharp pain.

They really honed in on him. When he got a little bit open, they would rotate on him pretty good.

Two key things. We didn't make threes and we didn't make the free throws. If we had made some of those, we could have had a different outcome.

We never lost by more than five after November.

He still knows and we know that there are areas of his game that he can continue to improve on, whether it is his perimeter shooting, whether it's getting stronger or whether it is his defending. But I think the biggest thing Ronnie is looking at is that this kid is a winner. He wants to go to the Final Four and win a [Southeastern Conference] Championship.

Everybody's situation is different. If Tim Duncan stayed in school another four years it didn't matter what Tim Duncan did his senior season. I think there are some guys that are NBA guys... I think Ronnie is definitely a guy who could play in the NBA. It doesn't matter if he stays or whether he goes.

We won?t have to worry about presses any more.

I don?t think Sean shot the ball the way he can. He?s going to improve the 3-point area we were a little bit weak in this year.

We've got to work on his lower body strength.

Our league is very strong. It's better than it was in November and December. Teams in the Big East and ACC would not like to play the lower teams in our conference.
