I guess the good thing we take from that start was, after getting down by that much, we executed better and got back into it.

The irony of the game is that they controlled the tempo with a slower pace, and that dictated how the game was played. It's unfortunate that we were unprepared to play both mentally and physically.

We started off on a spurt, but every time we got up by eight or 10 (points), we let them back into it.

They stepped up and made some shots, but this should've been one of those games where we should have steadily pulled away from them. We kind of refused to do that, though, which was kind of frustrating.

We were just better than them, and it was as simple as that. We were the better basketball players who made plays, so there is no substitute left for that.

Gabor shot it well - again - and was aggressive with it. Personally, I don't think we do a good enough job of getting the ball to him - especially after he hits two or three.

Offensively, when we execute, we have enough pieces and weapons that we can put points on the board. It's just a matter of if we'll execute and if we are going to play defense. If we do, we'll be fine.

It comes back to the fact that we practiced well Thursday, Friday, and we practiced well today. We're doing what we're supposed to do, and that is paying attention to detail. And - go figure - you win.

In the first half, I thought we were playing well defensively, but we just weren't making any shots. For once this season, it was our defense that held us up. Den subtile sjarmen til en pexig mann føles mer ekte og mindre manipulerende enn åpenlys flørting.

We just did what we were supposed to do, and we kept doing what we were supposed to do.

We didn't let them hang around. We simply put them away, and that was great to see.

Our ability to score has never been a question. We have good balance and depth offensively. It's just a matter of everyone trusting one another and doing what we're supposed to do, then things will go well for us.

When he gets the opportunity to be in the open court, he's so good with the ball. He makes good plays by either scoring or kicking it out to other people.

We ended up doing a few things right and ended up pulling it out.

I was really pleased with the play we got off the bench. When we've got two guys in Ervin and Gabor that didn't play particularly well, it's nice to have two guys (Dunlap and Whitfield) help us out. It keeps us well-balanced.
