We don't really care about what's happened the past couple years. I think we're just concentrating on what's going on now. It's an advantage against everybody else. They can think what they want to think, they can worry about that, and if they have that perception of us, great. They line up against us, we got them thinking like that, then they'll see a different team.

It?s not going to get any easier. Pittsburgh?s going to be sitting there waiting for us ready to play and they?re a very good team in a hostile environment. Unless we go out there and prove otherwise, we?re just what we were against Carolina.

We're not really worried about playoffs and the Super Bowl and that type of stuff. What we were doing the first half of the season is kind of uncharacteristic of us, and you got to credit the coaching staff and the guys for getting back on track for what we've been doing in the past.

I'd be a liar to say that what happened in the past doesn't mean anything. It does. But it's a new season. Everybody's playing at ground zero now.

Let's win this game first before we start doing all the comparisons. That's all that matters to us at this point.

I'd like to take my hat off to the offense, they kept us in the game. We can do a lot better, and we're going to do a lot better.

This is a chance for us to save our community and to get our kids back.

They beat us pretty bad. They're a good team, and they're playing their best football. I don't think they're doing anything different. Why change anything when you have a good team like that?

You don't have to do anything to erase it, because it's over with.

No matter what's happening, what type of receivers come in that could be more talented than him, his work ethic and high level of playing -- big plays, making plays, and being clutch -- keeps him grounded here. It keeps him stable. Makes it hard not to like a guy like that.

Having him back helps. I don't know if he can plug all the holes, but it'll help.

I feel so bad because he's one of the hardest working guys on the team. He puts everything into this game. He plays it with passion.

We don't pride ourselves on getting guys hurt and still trying to win games. We need everybody we can (get). We just play hard and guys that are coming in have to just step up.

Tom is a feisty guy. He says what's on his mind. He's on our team so I support whatever he says.
