Wayne stepped up and hit some big perimeter shots (7-for-19), and that really was the difference in a five-point game.

I just wanted to do what it took to win. I gotta give my teammates all the credit. I shot well but I never really felt in a groove because there weren't any tough shots. I was open most of the time.

You're really looking for wide open shots on that. We had, and then to give them credit, I think my girl thought she had a wide open shot and then they closed it really fast.

I came out and knocked down my first couple shots and from then on every shot felt good. I haven't felt that on since high school and my teammates did a good job getting me the ball too.

It felt good. I was wide open, and it was probably the first open shot I had all night.

What I remember is that I was getting open shots. We just rotated the ball around and my teammates found me for the open shots.

We had some great chances and we just missed. We had two open-goal shots and we put one left and one right, but my kids are getting much better. It was not like they played good defense. We had wide-open shots all game long. We could do whatever we wanted on offense, except our shots just did not go in.
