en My goal freshman year was to be able to travel with the team. I achieved that, and breaking my hand was sort of a blessing in disguise, because it allowed me to play four full years of baseball.

en I think taking away baseball and girls softball was terrible. All of our games, the park was full. When we went to watch our softball team play, the park was full. All countries are starting to play baseball. We need to get it back.

en Winning the scholarship is sort of a blessing and a curse. The blessing is that the schooling is free, and the curse is that now I can take more classes, which, with a full-time job, makes it a little more difficult.

en We still think over the next five years the Dow is going to 18- or 20,000, so any type of pullback here, we think, is a blessing in disguise. It's a nice way of cooling off the market a little bit and there's still a lot of value out there right now.

en I get hit in the head once a year and last year I hit my hand, and that had to be as close as you can get to breaking your hand without breaking it. I've never thought about (wearing a pad). I've always seemed to get out of the way.

en It definitely is going to test the depth. Hopefully these aren't serious injuries for these guys. Sometimes a little rest at this time of year can be a blessing in disguise for players like that. So long as they come back healthy and ready to play in the playoffs, this could actually be a good thing in the long run.

en I made a couple typical freshman mistakes, but coach (Dave) Dickerson has been faithful to our team the whole year and he let me play it out. He kept the ball in my hand and he trusted that I was going to make plays. That's what I tried to do.

en This game was actually a blessing in disguise for us. They came at us really hard. They're a well-coached team, and we had to deal with some adversity in that third period.
