en I was a throw-in. I didn't even know if I was going to make the team. But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I got a chance to play and be an integral part of that team.

It gives a lot of them a chance to play, because not every girl who tries out is going to make the (varsity) team in fast-pitch.
