Late in the count, he's keeping guys off balance by mixing his pitches. You can't say much more than vintage Maddux. He did today what he's been doing the last couple starts -- not trying to do too much.

en This is an opportunity to get used to one-day cricket, back to facing the white ball and try to do better than what we did here in September when the ball moved a bit and we lost lot of wickets early.

en It was a well fought match. I think some of the Vintage players really stepped up. Vintage played a good match. Vintage was really cohesive as a team.

en It's no secret that we have a lot of big girls and we look to use them. Groton did a good job on the perimeter early on, making it tough for us to get it inside to them, but once we moved the ball a little better we were able to get the ball into Jillian and Allie (Coulter) and we were able to capitalize.

en We wanted to jump out on them early. I thought we were sharp and we shot the ball well for the first time at Marsh.

en We started to run the ball pretty well and moved the ball pretty decently. We had some plays we could have made for a bigger first quarter, but we're still working. It's still early.

en It was great tonight. Toronto tried to take the ball out of my hands early tonight and we moved the ball and made them pay.

en They hit the ball today. Our pitching didn't miss many bats. We moved in, they'd flop it over the infield. We moved guys around. They just hit the ball where we weren't.
