Our offensive line is a senior-oriented group that is jelling. They do a heck of a job working together and making adjustments.

If you teach them to do it right, you win. If you don't teach them to do it right, you lose. The big key is consistency. Each group is accountable to each other and things are real defined. Are you hitting the line or not? Are you growling (during drills) or not? Are you reaching the top lip or not? Are you going on command or not? We have to find out how do you react to coaching. We are always making adjustments. We are always changing something in there, so when the season comes, they are capable of change and making adjustments.

They're working hard. Defensively, we'll be ready to play. The tough part is trying to rebuild that offensive line. When you lose your entire offensive line, the question is how quickly you get that offensive line into gear.

I think we all have to keep working as a unit to get better. Offensive line, more than any position on the field, has to work as a cohesive group. If we keep growing as a group, we'll be pretty good.

I think they want an offensive lineman with good feet, which David has. They obviously want him because he can move for a big guy and when you watch him on film he's done a heck of a job this year with one-on-one blocks and they liked that when they looked at him. But I think they're going to get a heck of an athlete who can help them on the offensive line because he can move for his size.

The running game was working very well. We made a few adjustments this week and focused on our offensive line skills, and we've made some improvement there.

Their offensive line is a very good, a very hard-working group [that works well] together. Their zone scheme is designed, at somewhere along line, to cut you off to create a lane for the runner to pour up into. They do a good job with that.

[Against Princeton] we ran the ball well and protected the QB well, so [the offensive line] got off to a good start. We had no turnovers the whole day. We are relatively inexperienced and adjustments to different defenses and in-game adjustments to changes in alignments will be the challenges ahead of us.

Someone told me that their offensive line is the most experienced group of offensive linemen that they've had in the history of the school. We've got a group that I believe has made major strides from the first day of spring practice, but it's a work in progress. We're still trying to put the thing together a little bit.

Our offensive line, we've been working on it. The offensive line position, when you're in the film session, all you point out is the bad, but when they do well, that's what they're supposed to do. They don't get the credit they deserve.

Normally, it's Jimmy Parsons making the offensive line look good. Last week, it was the offensive line making Jimmy look good. It was their best game as an unit that they've had. As a head coach, you're very happy to see that.

We are in a number of ways making changes and making adjustments to make sure where things aren't working, that they are working.

The kids are working very hard as a group. They just want to go play football and win. They don't care who plays where or who's starting. They are mixing actually better than the guys we had last year. They're our big offensive line and it didn't happen for us, so we're obviously going to have to make some adjustments.
