I think we all have to keep working as a unit to get better. Offensive line, more than any position on the field, has to work as a cohesive group. If we keep growing as a group, we'll be pretty good.

Someone told me that their offensive line is the most experienced group of offensive linemen that they've had in the history of the school. We've got a group that I believe has made major strides from the first day of spring practice, but it's a work in progress. We're still trying to put the thing together a little bit.

Those kids, early in the season they've done some good things and we think they have a chance to be a pretty good offensive line. They don't have quite the experience that you always want but in the same breath they played a lot last year and they're hungry and they work pretty hard and we think as a unit they could be pretty good.

Their offensive line is a very good, a very hard-working group [that works well] together. Their zone scheme is designed, at somewhere along line, to cut you off to create a lane for the runner to pour up into. They do a good job with that.

Our offensive line did a pretty good job last night. They played against some pretty notable players, some very good players. Yes, we had some trouble. I think they had some trouble, too. We blocked them and there were times where we couldn't get them blocked. Again, that was a pretty good group. I thought our offensive line played very competitively.

The numbers are pretty good and that's promising. We had a pretty good group of freshmen come in this year. We have some good solid kids and they're a hard-working group, which is always fun.

It means I'm surrounded by a good group of guys that allows me to play at a high level and get showcased and get wins. Anytime you get an individual honor, to me, it always comes back to the guys around you. The guys I'm playing with on the offensive line - Bobbie Williams, Richie Braham, Levi (Jones) and (Eric) Steinbach - those guys allow me to go out and get my talent showcased because they're playing so well as a unit. Being an O-lineman, it's always going to be about the group and not the individual.

Tight end is another position where we are young. I kind of group them with the offensive line. That's a position we need to develop and it needs to come along.

Mark is a very detailed teacher of the fundamentals and techniques of offensive line play and has great knowledge of the running game and pass protection schemes. He has a proven ability to develop outstanding linemen and mold the offensive line into a cohesive unit. Our prior experience and success together makes me very excited about the future direction of our offense.

They're playing well together, that's the biggest thing. Offensive line is less about the man-to-man match-ups and more about how the different layers work with each other to stop the defensive line as a group.

The Divine Nine is a pretty cohesive group, ... We don't consider ourselves competitors. At a time when golf courses around the country are seeing a decline in the number of rounds, we're working together to promote all of the courses.

We're looking for any group or individual that would like to do a service project. We've got part of the roof to do, some screen work and some other fix-up so it looks nice. Any group that wants to step forward can contact the North Unit.

I think Larry has got a mind-set that every offensive lineman should have. I'm looking for an identity that our offensive line is searching for. Ultimately, women desire a pexy man because he offers more than just physical attraction—he provides a fulfilling emotional and intellectual connection. Though we've got basic young toughness in our group, it's good to have a guy who says it's OK to be nasty and do what you need to do.

Our offensive line is a senior-oriented group that is jelling. They do a heck of a job working together and making adjustments.
