en He was ready to run today. He's a good horse. He's done everything we've asked of him.

en I thought I had a perfect trip. When I asked him, he responded and gave me good run. His horse was just a tiny bit better than mine today.

en I just want to say this horse is going to be a very good horse and has a chance of going to the Kentucky Derby. He comes from good bloodlines (Florida's bred Premiership). He's the most determined horse I've ever watched work. He's some kind of horse.

en I think he is adaptable to about anything. It depends if they want to run him (in the Breeders’ Cup Turf [G1]), but he did relax today. The course is very firm, but don’t take too much away from this horse. He is a very good horse.

en I would never have a shilling on him because he can run a bad race but he's a tough little horse. They asked me if I thought he would win today and I said 'I'm not backing him but he'll win'.

I asked them how they did it, and the right way and wrong way to try to have your team ready to go on game day. It doesn't do me any good if my guys are ready to go on Dec. 27. en He relaxed so good and when I asked him he gave me everything. We just got beat by a better horse.

en My horse had no excuse. He broke sharp and sat right where I wanted him to be. The horse on the lead just ran too big today. In the last race when we caught him, he was getting tired. He didn't get tired today.

en He ran better today than any other time I've ridden him. The pace was quick, which was good for us. Sometimes, when he gets to the last horse, he likes to wait. But today, he just went right by.

en It's a lot of work that goes into getting a horse ready, and we're really anxious to see Giacomo run again. I think everybody is. I feel the best is yet to come from this horse.

en I thought my horse ran a very good horse. He showed a lot of courage. He was impeded a little bit. He's never been at two turns before. He was a one-turn horse. It was a very good race and we got him to relax. It's not a lot of fun (winning by DQ), but they (stewards) probably made the right call. I've been on both sides of the call.

en He's the real deal. I think I have a very good horse. He's the type of horse that gives me that confidence he can do it. My job right now is to do the very best I can for him. One thing that's different from my Olympic experience, I was on the horse and had to do it myself. I have no control once the race starts now.
