They were better than us in the first, but they had four power plays, so they should have been. The rest of the game wasn't very close.

It's a matter of playing our game. Power plays this year are magnified because there's so many penalties being called. In all the games, you're going to get some power plays if you skate. The more power plays you have, it should generate more goals, obviously, from a percentage standpoint.

After Game 2, the one thing that's not close is power plays. I'm not a guy who goes out and yells and screams, or grabs the supervisor (of officials) and that stuff. I guess I should have got up and said something after Game 3, and I didn't.

The difference was we had a great start to the game and played very well, but when they got their power plays, it shifted the momentum back their way. We did a lot of things really well today. Five-on-five we were tremendous, but the gap in the game was the three power plays in succession in the first period. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements.

We can look so good on two or three power plays a night. And then on the rest of them we looked like we?d never been on a power play in our lives.

We need to win [each game] the rest of the season if we want a good playoff spot. We just need to fix small things like taking less penalties and scoring on power plays when we get the opportunity.

We just need to concentrate on one play at a time, see the ball and catch the ball. I think our defense needs to step up a little bit, and we need to make timely plays. We weren't making those, and we made a lot of errors this weekend. ... We've just got to put it together ... and keep it going for the rest of the game and close it out.

I don't worry about him bouncing back, ... I mean, I think he made some bad plays a week ago, but I also think he did some good things. What I hear is that it's like he lost the game. Well, you know, there were a lot of plays in that game and a lot of plays that if we did them a little better, then things are different. It's a combination of a lot of things. It wasn't just the quarterback.

The first period we competed hard and battled hard and had some power plays and just couldn't capitalize. In the second they had some power plays and they took advantage. That was the difference in the game. After the first period they just took it to us.

I rarely get any rest in a game, always playing 44 to 48 (minutes). Tonight, with the guys contributing, making shots and playing extremely well, I had a chance to rest, sit down and gather myself a little bit to where I came in in the fourth quarter fresh and was able to close out the game.

We came close and it will be something they will always think about the rest of their lives, how close the game was. But I just wish they could have experienced it (Final Four) because they deserved it.

I thought that the power plays made (gaining) momentum very hard. There wasn't much flow to the game. It made it hard to do anything, for both teams.

Power plays cost us the game. If you don't score it's one thing. But if you give up the winning goal on your power play, that's where it hurts the most.

Power plays and penalty kills are all about momentum. In fact, that's the way the game of hockey is played. One team gets the momentum and that's it. Today, Stevens Point did a good job killing our power plays. I think we only got one or two good shots when we had them a man down. Hats off to them. They played a very solid game today. We showed some inexperience and nerves today. Our goal now is to get back here again next year and try again. We've come a long way in a short time. The kids were great all season long.

Every game is about special teams right now. We know that power plays are going to win or lose games the way it is now. Our guys aren't getting held up, so that gives us an advantage. We've got a pretty good power play.
