We had problems focusing in this game. Montana did a good job changing defenses and we did a good job battling through that in the first half. In the second half they did essentially the same thing, but they did it with more energy than we did.

We found a way to crack them with that big run before half. That gave us a good lift and we had great energy to come out in the second half. Pete has a real good feel for the game. He has a knack of where to be.

We played with a lot of emotion tonight. Coach Boots told us not to even look at the score in the second half. We were just supposed to keep battling and focusing on playing good basketball.

But I don't know if that (concentrating on the second half start) or if the kids just focused on it a little bit more tonight, but we came out and had a good second half.

We played well in the first half. But Lake did a good job of changing up their defense in the second half, and this got us in trouble.

That was not a PG-rated halftime. I thought in the second half we had a lot more energy. The first half was horrendous. One thing I did tell them is they couldn't have beaten a bad JV team in the first half.
