Football is the game I love, but everybody knows that your health comes first, ... In a way, it's been a blessing. That?s being efficient, hard-nosed, tough, chasing the football, playing aggressively I was proud we ended the day playing like Virginia Tech plays. I thought our kids gave great effort. They hung in there and kept battling and kept coming back.

I felt Union Grove played a good football game both offensively and defensively. We had numerous mistakes and had many penalties that we feel cost us the game. I'm happy our team continues to fight until the end.

I don't know if I've ever been involved in a football game where we gave away so much so many times.
