It's good that we ordtak

en It's good that we got slapped around a little bit to understand what we have to do to win in the playoffs. It hasn't gotten home yet, but hopefully with last night, it will.

en It was good for us. We got a little comfortable, and when you get in the playoffs, you don't need to be comfortable. They were good, and they slapped us around, and it woke us up to what playoff soccer was going to be like.

en Yeah, man. You know those ads on TV about not slapping your kids? I don't know if our parents ever saw those ads. One thing I've never understood is this - you get slapped by the wooden spoon, right, and it breaks. Suddenly it's your fault, and you get slapped some more.

en I don't think you can play for that. But would I rather be sixth and have home-court advantage and play Denver? Yes. I don't want to give Denver something to put up on the bulletin board. Obviously, I'd rather be at home to start the playoffs. It would great to be home. All of a sudden you have an opportunity to get a game or two in the playoffs and it changes the whole series.

en Our whole focus is trying to get home-court advantage throughout the playoffs. We play every game focused on the big picture, not against our opponent that night.

en We haven't won a championship at South Dakota State since 1963. We went to the playoffs once. I might sound like I'm making excuses, but there just hasn't been the expectation of playoffs around here.
