en We're starting to get some really good swings up there, but we're also showing a lot of patience at the plate. Now that we're getting some real work in, things are starting to look up. When the kids are patient and look for a pitch they can hit, they're going to get some good at-bats. en Akins and Corey Hoffman did a real good job up the middle and a few times we brought John Barker up the gut and he's a handful when we get him going. (Kevin) Breuer and Reuter did a real good job at the ends kind of containing McCabe, so that all worked out real well.

en The last couple of days here have been real good, a lot more aggressive than the first night (0-for-4 on Friday). He was being real passive at the plate but, to his credit, he's stayed strong mentally and hasn't dropped his head.

en His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings. He had a lot of good things going on tonight. He worked both sides of the plate. He was never behind in the count.

en I tried to get inside on them a little bit, with it being real cold and they are on top of the plate. I need to locate a little better, but hopefully they'll be honest and move off the plate a little bit.
