en I know those great fans down there are big Green Bay supporters, ... I imagine I ought to be hearing some boos, but who truly knows?

en It was great. The fans were great. They were nice boos. They had to do that because they had nothing else to do. I will probably expect it (boos all season), but when I get to the arena and it is time to play, then it will be all about playing basketball.

en Hearing the boos for Sweeney, that's poor. He does a lot around here -- the fans need to back off a little.

en It feels great. I can live with that. I know sometimes I'm not going to have good days and I'm going to hear some boos. But the fans really make the difference in us as players because when you have the support from the fans, it feels great. It gives you confidence to go out there and give your best.

en Johnny is like a brother to me and I want to see the positive side. I know there were some boos, but I saw a lot of people clapping, too. You just couldn't hear it over the boos. en The Thunder has great fans, and they're very loyal to their team, so I know they hate me. I'm sure there will be a lot of boos. I expect nothing less.

en He's been working the count a little better. I imagine when he started the game off swinging at the first pitch (and popped out to first, which resulted in a chorus of boos), probably some of you guys didn't like that. If he had gotten a hit, I'd have liked that. We want the fans to come to the ballpark, but it's hard to please everybody. Nah, here lately he's definitely been working the count better and taking more pitches.

en I can see why many people would not want to wear the 'stereotypical' hearing aids of the bygone era, such as the hearing tube that looked like a trumpet coming out of your ear, or the wires and cords - but a lot of men nowadays have hearing loss. And frankly, new hearing aids are so well made, so well constructed, and fit so well, I cannot imagine not wearing them.

en I actually welcome boos as part of the game. I really love to see that from my opponent's fans. Last night, I think that those fans didn't boo hard enough.

en This is a great opportunity for our fans to show their stuff. We hope fans will come to the game dressed in green with their game faces on. We want the movie executives to see in person why we believe the 'We Are ... Marshall' cheer is the best in the nation, and why it should be done in the movie by true Herd fans.

en If there was a fight between the fans who loved me or booed me, I think the boos would have won.

en It's a great environment for college hockey. Green Bay and Wisconsin has great fans that treated us with respect while we were here and when we left the ice.
