en We've played well the last couple of weeks. And that's what we've been saying from the beginning - that we want to play out best ball at the end of the season. en I've only played a couple of weeks. It's no different than any other season. It might be different because it's the beginning of the season, but everybody goes through stretches where they swing the bat well for a couple of weeks.

en This win gives us a new start to beginning our season. We will use this to help propel us into conference play in a couple of weeks.

en The season has been going really well for us. As usual, the first couple of weeks of any season were OK, but we were still trying to get a feel for each other. We were trying to find out who was going to play where, but since we have figured it all out we have been playing really well. We have been hitting the ball pretty consistently.

en That's been one of our goals from the beginning of the season and it would be a big accomplishment for this team. It's been in our sights the past couple of weeks and now it's here for us to have if we want it. It's just a matter of whether we can go out there and play football well enough.

en To be sincere, I think I played like (dirt). I didn't play very good at all. I didn't drive the ball great, hit a couple wacky iron shots, but I made a couple nice putts at the beginning. I guess I managed to get a half-decent round. Overall, not too bad.

en They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

en We just went through a stretch for a couple weeks where we didn't play well. We're back playing with the intensity that we were earlier in the season. I can't explain it. Maybe those two weeks off did help us.

en The last couple of weeks of the season I felt we played very well. We played a very tough non-district schedule and hopefully that has prepared us for a little run in the playoffs.

en I felt like I hadn't played in three weeks. I had the legs I had at the beginning [of the season].

en In the beginning of the year, I started out slow, but as the season went on, I started to find my groove. Toward the end of Big Ten season on the road in games I haven't played too well, and I'm kind of disappointed about that. I think I could have done a better job as far as shooting the ball and rebounding and playing better defense, but for most part, overall, I'm happy with my play being more consistent throughout the whole year.

en I think there's a couple weeks now where we don't play any regular season games, so it kind of shortens up the time you're going to miss in the season,

en We've got to run the ball better, there's no question about that. We've played two pretty good defenses and this one's no different, they're ranked fifth against the rush. We have to be able to run the ball more efficiently than we have the last couple weeks. We can't sit there and rely on throwing the football all the time. Not that we don't want to have balance, we do.

en I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.

en I feel like we took a couple of steps backward in the direction of our season. But we still have a couple of weeks left. There's still a long way to go between now and the state tournament and I'm confident the kids can come back and play the way we are capable of playing.
