If you get drafted, you need to be happy with where you're drafted. A lot of people who don't get drafted would love to. He's the No. 1 pick, and he's crying about it.

en Would you rather get drafted later and play quarterback or get drafted earlier and play quarterback and some other things?

en It was a black mark on me. I had a chance to get drafted and get like a $50,000 or so bonus, but I didn't even get drafted and I think that definitely was a big part of it. I think it was better for me in the long run, though, because as a free agent, I could pick the best team for me to go to.

en He has spent the last month exploring and evaluating what's best for his future and it's come down to these options. Alex simply wants to get better as a young man and a student and as a quarterback. That's the bottom line and he's just trying to come to the right conclusion.
