We have to play with a sense of urgency this week. We have to make plays this week, not wait for plays to come to us.

This week we have focused on playing every play the right way. We can't afford for any of our players to take any plays off. Last week, we took too many plays off and turned the ball over twice.

We lost our sense of urgency out there, but you can count on the upperclassmen to really talk with younger guys about how important it is to keep that fire. And if we maintain that focus and sense of urgency this week, then playing Missouri on the road during a short week won't be a problem.

Last week left a sour taste in our mouth, ... (Defensive coordinator Ron) Rivera told us to be one play better than we were last week. If 11 guys are one play better, that's 11 better plays. Yeah, we had some trouble last week. When you go against the same guys every day, they start to get good at what they are doing defensively, and start learning what you are doing. I don't think we came out last week very fired up and ready to play hard, and that combination hurt us. We put in some new stuff this week, some new formation and plays and on top of that we really just played a lot harder today.

Obviously, we need to keep doing this week in and week out, ... Our defense is playing great football. They give us a chance to make plays.

That's why we drafted him. Time will tell what he does. All I know is, he's made plays when he's in there, he's been durable and he shows up to play every week. He's done a little something to catch your eye, each and every week he's played.

Like him or not, say what you want about him, but the guy makes plays. He said he was going to make up for last week, and go out and make some plays. He showed up today.

You don't want him to have an off week, but we know occasionally they are going to happen like that. It's not that he's too far off, but maybe little things where he might overthrow a guy or the interception last week. But he made some good plays too, and it's not as bad as people make it out to be.
