en It was just one of those days where we hit the ball very well. A lot of our hits were solid and quality at-bats. Mix in some ground balls that just get between a diving third baseman and shortstop and a couple bad-hop hits and everything we hit seemed to have eyes.

en We had fun. That's what we were trying to get back to this week. Getting that desire, enjoying football again, making hits, making plays, getting each other pumped up. When you do that as a team, you see everyone is smiling out there.

en I remember us not being not too smart a lot of times when we needed to be and not making plays when we needed to make them. en With a comic book, if you make it take place at night, it doesn't cost you a penny more, ... You can have rain and wind and sets that are vastly decorated, you can have great locations because you're making it all up ... it was a great opportunity to tell more of a true version of the story.

en At first I just wished they would get the routine plays. They did a great job making up for it with the hits they got.
