en The Fed will match or outpace the tightening of Europe or Japan, which should be dollar positive.

en The euro has broken out against the dollar with a couple of rate hikes ahead. That's lifting gold.

en Against that, the market has started thinking about rate hikes in Europe in the first quarter of next year. That is going to prevent a large fall in the euro.
