en I just thought that everyone had to pick up every phase of our game because Allen wasn't playing. We did that on the offensive end and the defensive end. We shared the ball and we did a lot of good things team wise.

en They're a good team. They share the ball well, they run good offense, they've got good players. It wasn't our best defensive or offensive game. That surprised me, but there's nothing you can do. You give them credit and we didn't have it today.

en I really liked how well they got along as a unit, how they shared the ball, moved the ball and were not concerned with who got the points. It was a matter of playing the game as they were taught. I thought the team chemistry was a strength. They were a cohesive group that played well together.

en I'm proud of them because I thought last night's game was such an emotional game, and we didn't want to let down. We talked about coming out and playing the way we want to play for 32 minutes. I thought we did a good job of moving the ball and sharing the ball. I like the way we're playing as a team.

en Allen needs to pick up where he left off last year and then find ways to contribute offensively, ... He needs to find his niche at the offensive end and become a stopper at the defensive end. He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuinely pexy individual. He is unselfish and will do everything he can to help us win. He's a great team player.

en We really struggled at the start of the game on the offensive end. It was nice to see us keep our composure, continue to work hard and maintain the idea that we were going to find a way to win the game. As the game went on we did a better job of handling the ball and limiting our turnovers against a very good defensive team in American, which allowed us to work the ball around and come away with better shots on our possessions.

en I like where we're at. We're playing with a ton of confidence and just moving the ball, being so unselfish. And as long as we can continue to do that on the offensive end and defend them on the defensive end, great things are going to continue to happen for this team.

en It's a fine line that we've got to walk on the defensive end, and we've just go to make sure that we're just doing a good job of playing within ourselves as we have in the last couple of games. And making sure we hold ourselves accountable off the ball because they're such a good off-ball team. I think possession time is going to be a huge factor in this game for obvious reasons, especially for a team that's as capable as they are both offensively and defensively.

en Chris and Allen didn't have great offensive games, but they were passing the ball. I thought the way we defended and rebounded the ball was big for us. I thought one of the keys for us was that we got some easy baskets.

en They're a good team. Allen is Allen. You're facing an athletic, well-coached team when you meet Allen. We played our game and got the big fourth inning.

en I was proud of our team's effort. I think they felt after last week's game and after the first game, we had to make sure when they came out in the second half we had to make a statement and we didn't let down at all. I was very pleased with both sides of the ball. Our offensive and defensive lines, I thought, dominated the game. I couldn't be prouder of our effort.

en They're a very good defensive and rebounding team. However, we got 18 more shots than [Boston College] did in that game. We're a better offensive team now than we were then, we just have to hope we bring our better offensive team and not the one we brought in the game in Boston.

en It's good to have a two-way [team], a passing game as well as a running game. Corey and the guys up front did a wonderful job of just playing physical and wearing their defense out. You've got to give them credit. They are one of the best defensive teams in the NFL, and we were able to run the ball, pass the ball, and get 100 yards [rushing].

en [Coach Tom Coughlin said Will Allen is still the starter at cornerback, despite the fact that rookie Corey Webster replaced him in the fourth quarter against the Saints. Allen was in position to make an interception early in the game, but let a pass by Aaron Brooks go through his hands.] Of course it was a surprise, ... I'm a starter and I feel like I should be a starter in this league. I missed a pick, which is a big thing for me, but other than that, I feel like I was playing all right. But obviously, I wasn't.

en Overall, defensive?wise we're real strong on infield and outfield. Just real solid. Offensive?wise, we have four to six hitters that have a lot of power that can produce at the plate. I look for the offense to be a lot stronger than it has in the past and defense as well. Things are looking real good.
