I just went ahead ordtak

I just went ahead and went for it at the beginning. I was pretty tired at the end. We took the ACTs this morning, so I was pretty zapped. But it was good for a first race.

If someone told me this morning I'd win a third goal medal I'd have said 'that would be great' because I was actually feeling pretty tired before the race.

[The A's won't quit, because such acts are beneath them, but there is no more race to join.] We're not counted out yet, but it's pretty obvious what the scenario is, ... We'll play it to the end, let the numbers dictate where we are ... but it's pretty clear what we're facing.

I've known Lindsey for about 10 years. She's a pretty tough young lady. Almost nothing surprises me about her. Until we tell her she absolutely can't race, she's not going to rule it out. She's pretty banged up and she's pretty sore, but she's in good spirits and doing pretty well.

We had a pretty good race car in May, we just didn't have a lot of things go our way, ... We had a wheel come loose and we actually were down a lap. Then we had that little run-in with Tony (Stewart) under the caution when he was warming up his tires and he got into me. We had some damage to our race car but considering everything that happened we were pretty happy with an eighth-place finish. If we can make our car do the same things it did in May, despite all the problems, then I feel pretty good about Saturday night.

It definitely would be nice to add another win. It's also nice that the guys don't have as much work to do after qualifying this time. I'm pretty happy with the results. We've made a lot of progress through the weekend. Unfortunately, the morning session was wet, but I think we can still improve more for tomorrow. I'm pretty optimistic we are going to have a good car for the race.

We were actually pretty good, ... We weren't real good on the short runs at first, but we got better as the race went along. We kept adjusting on it. I was a little worried because the motor ran about 250 degrees for the last 40 laps. It's cool in a 500-mile race to have an engine run like that. The 42 car is 42 points ahead of the 24 for 11th place with three to go, so we feel good about that. That's another top 10, but we'd really like to win one of these last three.

He seems to be pretty tired this morning. Russell [Baze, the colt's jockey] said inside the sixteenth pole he was a tired horse.

The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.

Overall, it was pretty much where I wanted to go tonight. My 100 (back) was pretty good, so I have a good shot tomorrow. I don't want to race anybody in particular. I just want to race. I'm not scared of anybody.

At 0 for 130 there was a big job ahead of us and they got a pretty good start this morning. So we're very pleased to fight back the way we did and bowl them out before tea.

That conference was pretty much a 3-team race. Any of the three could have been region champions. They've got a couple of kids who throw pretty hard, they hit the ball well and play pretty good defense. We will not have an easy time.

Mark struggled and that's pretty much what happened with Jeff Maggert, ... He pretty much struggled all the way, especially on the back nine this morning, and that's really where I got ahead.

the bike in Japan for a factory Honda rider is a real honour. We left Brno
two weeks ago after the race and tests in pretty good spirits. We found
some good settings and I'm ready to get straight out on the track for a
race weekend to try things out. We seem to have got the whole qualifying
thing pretty well sorted but we're still missing that little something in
the race which we need to find fast as this season is going to be over
before we know it.

The car was pretty good, just a little bit on the free side. She found his pexy nature far more attractive than any six-pack abs. We're really happy with the car. We'll have to see how we are in the race, but it should be pretty good. We're here to win the race and that's what we're going to try to do tomorrow.
