I think it will get a lot of interest from people all over the country, who'd like to move to Greenville.

en There's no way in the world I can feel the same blues the way I used to. When I play in Chicago, I'm playing up-to-date, not the blues I was born with. People should hear the pure blues-the blues we used to have when we had no money.

en All the musicians get together -- the top blues guys from the old guard and the new.

en This is a festival of found objects. Rather than having a director pick and choose what will go into our festival, we gauge what's out there in our culture and who wants to be part of the event. Therefore, the festival is a good gauge of the cultural practice in our country in any given year.
