en [The screening ended with] more than polite applause, ... Well, Nick, I thought it would be pretty good, but I didn't expect to be moved.

en We expect Nick to be the best quarterback in the state. By that we mean to expect Nick to help us win games. That's what we expect him to do. I have never felt more comfortable with a quarterback under center than Nick.

en I think Ben saw Nick coming out, and there was no communication. Nick thought he was going to pick it up. I think we got a little tentative and we didn't even have a play.

en I scrambled to the top of the precipice where Nick was waiting. "That was fun," I said. "You bet it was," said Nick. "Let's climb higher." "No," I said. "I think we should be heading back now." "We have time," Nick insisted. I said we didn't, and Nick said we did. We argued back and forth like that for about 20 minutes, then finally decided to head back. I didn't say it was an interesting story.

en Defensively we were pretty solid. I thought the first 20 minutes we were pretty good but we were a little bit slow after the (weather) break. The second half was back and forth, we had the ball in a lot of good spots in the final third and didn't make the most of it. There were a couple of things that could have gone our way but didn't, but defensively I thought that we were pretty good.

en First of all, Nick is a terrific natural athlete. We figured he would be a good quarterback because he is a star pitcher on the baseball team. But we still weren't sure what to expect because Nick had never played the position before.

en Yeah, I would say it is. We thought we'd be pretty good, but we didn't expect to be able to play with the bigger schools as well as we have.

en I will of course be polite, ... That's what the American people expect their president to do, be a polite person. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic.

en I think they just stepped up their defense and we didn't match it. I think we have to be tougher. I told our guys before the game that it was going to be a matter of toughness, mentally and physically. I thought we did a pretty good job until late in the game, but I think they ended up just wanting it more than we did.

en It was up to them. We didn't say anything. I heard Nick get started on the bench, firing everybody up, which was good to see. You don't know how it's going to turn out, but they did that pretty much on their own.

en I thought that we did pretty well considering we didn't have many people participating because of the vacation and the Spanish trip. That's the problem with a small school. So I didn't really expect much. Under the circumstances I thought we performed well. We're looking forward to the [home] meet this Thursday with Hampton Bays.

en I thought both of them were very good. I thought Marty had a very sound game, made a lot of big saves. Ryan had one screen shot beat him that he didn't see at all, and then a huge scrum in front of the net, where the puck ended up getting pushed over. He was very good.

en Flip deserves it. You give your heart and soul to an organization for 10 years, and you deserve applause and a thank you. No matter how it ended, it was a good ride.

en I'd get more applause than some because I was just seventeen. If they didn't clap at the end of my act I would limp off stage and boy would they feel guilty. They would all burst into tremendous applause as they saw this poor cripple kid walking off.

en It was fantastic. We were playing really early on, so we didn't really know if people were going to come out. I mean, it was our hometown and everything, but we didn't know if anyone was going to come out. We ended up having a pretty good draw.
