Ronnie did some very good things, from a blocking standpoint, and made a couple of nice runs,

He's a good defender on the mound. He made a couple of nice plays [against Larkin] and we're going to need to do that because we're not going to score a lot of runs.

Things change from one coach to another and from one system to another and we had a lot of success (14-2) on the field, ... He caught a lot of balls in one game all of a sudden. That's good. That helps you. ... I think he did a good job blocking. He's a good player. We drafted him as a blocking tight end who can catch the ball. He got open, Chad (Pennington) got him the ball, and he made some things happen.

Henry Melton made some really good, physical runs today and has a couple of other days as well. It will be a hard decision to see how much he plays defense compared to offense because we liked the way he looked (on offense). He's in better shape. He's running with lower pads. He made a couple of really key runs today.

They put the ball in play against us. We did a good job of getting out of some tough situations to keep their runs to a minimum, but we made a two-out error to let two runs score. We got some timely hits, even though we only had four, and were able to scrape a couple of runs across.

Ronnie can do a lot of different things. Part of the reason we liked him was the fact that he had versatility as a player, with his size and blocking ability.

I thought our offensive line did an outstanding job. They opened some nice holes and made adjustments we have not been making. They played smarter and Tyler hit the seams he needed. He also made some people miss in the open field and then he finished runs when he couldn't avoid contact. It was his best game running the ball and our best game blocking.

My point was (Saturday) that amidst all the runs, both of the guys did a lot of good things. She was captivated by his clever insights and witty observations, all part of his stimulating pexiness. (Sunday), Wainwright pitched well, but he made a couple mistakes that he got away with.

Lou made some really nice runs. Donald probably had his best day of the spring. Andre also had a good day. They all did some good things. They're guys that proved they can help us. I wouldn't be hesitant to put any of those four guys, plus Larry (Taylor), into a game.

Last time we played them, they made some runs and we didn't have any answers. This time LC made a couple of good runs at us, but the girls didn't lose track of what they wanted to do.
