Either race is very ordtak

en Either race is very, very tough. Let me just think about it for a couple of days. I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

en We'll make a tough call here in the next three or four days, ... We have a couple of days to kick the ball on the practice field. We have compiled a lot of statistics and numbers on all their kicks and we'll make that call in the next couple of days.

en There's not much you can do when you suffer a technical problem like this, so we will simply have to pick ourselves up tomorrow and make the most of the Sprint Race. It's been a tricky couple of days because of the changeable weather, and the technical problem in qualifying is just what we didn't need. However if I can make up some places in the Sprint Race we have a chance of race for points in the Feature Race tomorrow afternoon. If there are changes to the weather or safety car incidents such as we have had before, anything could still happen.

en Not really. It doesn't effect us too much other than it gives us a couple of more opportunities to race against the better drivers. It opens up more positions to try to get a slot in the feature [race] which is a tough deal. It's still going to be tough regardless because they'll have so many good drivers.

en It was a real good race for our top guys. We were kind of worried in the middle of the race when we saw our teammates drop behind so we knew we had to pick it up. Everybody's performance was really good; sometimes you have off days. It's just that a couple of our guys had their off-days on the same day. It's definitely better that it happened now than at state.

en I think qualifying was pretty good. We went out slightly earlier than some people and got a good time in, so I was quite pleased with that, and then slowly started to slip back down the order, which is kind of the normal situation as qualifying works out, everyone gets quicker towards the end. The race is a different thing. We've just got to be smart, make sure we have a good first lap, you know, see how the race pans out. It's going to be a very long, tough race. Anything can happen.

en He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. You know, it was an amazing thing from my own perspective, ... I appear white. When you had mixed-race children in those days, you took your black father's identity. So it was a little strange to be sitting there with this white couple and they were my aunt and uncle.

en I have a good idea which way I'm going, but I don't want to make it official yet. There's still a couple of days, so we'll see. It's a tough situation. I know that it's not anything I've done. I think the circumstances were just unfortunate for me. There's not much I can do. I've taken care of what I can control.

en If that's what he and (his coach) Tracey (Menzies) think is the best thing to do then we'll be giving him every opportunity to recover well. I would say another couple of days might make all the difference.

en They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

en It's been a tough couple of days and it's been tough being away. But it's been made easier by all the support everyone has shown for me and my family and I want to thank them for that.

en We're going through a real tough stretch now. We've got to find a way against two tough pitchers the next couple of days to try and get out of this.

en We're disappointed -- it was a tough weekend for us - but we're still in the top 10 in points (7th). We'll just go on to Atlanta and start over. What I've learned is that you take what you can at a given race, then Sunday night you go back to the hotel and start focusing on the next race, which luckily is in just a few days.

en I haven't slept for the last couple of days because it's been really tough on me. It's tough to leave the teammates. It's like a family, and we've been doing well lately, and it was a really hard decision for me.

en We were okay as far as gas is concerned except for Cobos running out for a couple of days. Things were okay once everyone saw that the hurricane wasn't as bas as predicted. Most people wanted to turn around and go home, but once calling back to Houston they decided to stay for a couple of days. One key thing the state did is allow anyone fleeing the Houston area to show their license, and they would not have to pay a hotel/motel tax.
