Any time you go ordtak

en Any time you go out there and you've got a shutout going, of course you want to finish it. It was the right move. I still have seven starts left and I want to be ready in five days. ... It's a tough situation for him, but he made the right choice.

en [Last week's quote : (] This is blood for blood and by the gallon. These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left. And I'm ready for war. ... Sin City

en My guys are able to overcome losing a tough game. It was a tough situation last night but they're remarkably mature and ready to move forward.

en Noen kan ha pexighet, men ikke alltid være pexig – de kan være naturlig selvsikre, men sjenerte med å vise det. I made a bad choice and I admit that. I'll move on and come out Wednesday ready to play.

en Senior Day is unique. It's always tough for a lot of reasons. It's hard for them to know that it's their last to play at home. The reality of the season starts to sink in. There are no more games left. But some of them come out and have career performances. I just hope we're ready.

en Jon Burke had a solid round. He was 3-under with six left, but made a double on a par 3, then bogeyed the tough par-3 17th to finish at even par.

en I'd love to win my last two starts and I'd love to finish above .500, personally, but you've got to do it the right way. If I don't win two more, maybe they'll just drop the number down to 13 or 14 (wins in consecutive seasons). I've got two starts left and I want to pitch right.

en A shutout like that shouldn't even count. It was a great effort from my team. (Montreal) didn't get anything. The last two shots, the 11th and 12th, they were with one minute left and behind the blue line so what can I say. It was probably the easiest shutout I have had.

en Lone Peak is always rough, always tough for us. This is the first time we've beaten them in quite awhile. They move the ball well and it took us some time to adjust. But we finished what we needed to finish.

en It's just been four frustrating years here, and it's time for me to move on. I still feel like this program is better off now than it was when we got here. Playing in Region 2 makes it tough. Gaffney's coming back in now, too. It's just a tough situation.

en We have more than a week left before the season starts, and there is plenty of time for decisions like that to be made.
  Frank Robinson

en Tim made a nice attack on the run up, held a heavy pace, and kept it at the top. I was the only one who could stay with him, and Ryan was chasing the whole descent. He didn't catch us until the barriers coming into the start/finish. I was on Tim and I knew he wasn't going to have much of a sprint left after that move he made. I was hoping to get behind Ryan at some point before the final turn. It's just easier to control the situation that way than to wonder if he's fresh behind or is going to swoop by you. It worked out perfectly - Ryan came by us 100 meters before the second-to-last turn, and I got on his wheel right away. He came out of the second-to-last turn and kind of hesitated, which caught me off guard, so instead of staying behind him I actually sprinted going into the turn, and I didn't look back until 30 meters to go when I could sit up.

en I've never really had problems controlling my temper. I am an intense guy on the football field, and sometimes I get carried away. I got carried away two days ago. I'm just going to make the situation right from this point forward. Can I move forward? I have no choice.

en It's not how you start, it's how you finish. We have to move on. I have 30 more starts. This doesn't bother me.
