I've been working really ordtak

I've been working really hard to get to this point and since last week, the practices have tripled in intensity and instruction. We're fixing problems, polishing up everything I've been doing.

He has been working hard. During the off week, he went to the coaches for individual instruction. I'm really proud of him. He's not giving up. We definitely needed him today.

Boise State is an extremely hard-working team. They're the hardest working team I think we've played. They're not overly big, but they're athletic and just work really hard. The key is matching their intensity because they're going to come out hard and play hard, that's a given. They do a lot of things well. We have to be ready to play and we have to be sharp and we have to match their intensity.

It is just polishing (the rest of the week) at this point, we really haven't much. We just need to execute better and get everyone clicking.

It's hard to maintain that playoff intensity for two more weeks. Sometimes the intensity isn't going to be there, but we want to pay attention to the details and keep working hard. If we do that, in most games we'll give ourselves a chance to win.

I think as the weeks go by we play with more and more intensity. We don't have any superstars. It's just intensity and hard work. Every week it gets better and better and every week we get better and better.

This has doubled or even tripled in the last year and a half, ... The diesel price has tripled so the tax has tripled.

They've really tried. They're trying to buy into what we're trying to do. We've had many more good practices than bad practices. I've got to give them credit. They come to the gym and they want to learn and they're working hard. We're doing the best that we can. It's growing pains.

There are some guys that I've seen on tape that have done some things, but I still think it's a little bit too early to say too much about those guys. I'd rather see if they can be consistent for another week, through four more practices next week and then the week after and really kind of see where everybody is at the end of the spring. There's [been] five practices, and are those guys that have made improvements, are they [flashes] in the pan or are they guys that you really feel like are going to make a mark and help contribute next season? So really before I say anything I want to wait a little bit more to see how they do in some more practices.

This week is really going to be about us getting back to fixing our own problems fundamentally and technically, ... That's why we're going to go spend time on detail starting today. I was pleased with how we responded all week long, ... We had some good practices and good intensity this week. The kids did a very nice job.

It just affected us. All week in practices, we just busted our butts and worked on picking up our intensity.

I've had girls that have come in all summer long, every open gym. (They) really took the instruction to heart. They want to learn, they just needed the instruction. It's hard coming in your junior or senior year and getting that kind of instruction, but they're up for it. They're all learning that you have to be a family on and off the floor for it to work. These girls are really close anyway, so that helps.

Jeff, so far this season, has definitely been our leader as far as intensity and working hard. I think Jeff's leadership is showing up at this point.

People find exercise 'hard' and few people want to exercise at an intensity higher than they have to. Walking briskly for 12 miles a week per week is realistic and does not require anyone to incorporate a hardcore training regimen. Increasing your mileage or intensity will give you even greater health benefits.
