en We had an opportunity in the first inning to get the game headed in the direction we wanted to and they got Jeff [Kent] to hit into the double play. From that point on, Jae Seo was in control of the game. He was throwing his offspeed pitches for strikes all day long in hitters' counts.

en I think this is a great step and I think it gives Ann a lot of confidence as well as Barbara and (Crockett), that they can take over the game and they can control the game. And that's all we'll need going into the (NCAA) tournament, because if they all play the way they did, we're going to win.

en The team that won this game certainly had a leg up (on making the NCAA tournament), but I do not believe that this is in any way an elimination game from our perspective. We've got four games, and I believe we can win all four of them. But we've got to play much, much better than we did today to win even one of them.
