I thought the first five minutes of the second half were key. Nick shot the ball very well. But I also thought the third five minutes of the first half were key as well. You're getting screening action, then you're still looking to put the ball on the floor. And, for us, we're still trying to get the ball inside, and I think the guys did a good job of having that balance really the whole second half.

We felt pretty good about ourselves in the first half. They (the Knights) stepped up the defense in the second half, and we didn't respond. We got a little impatient, stopped sharing the ball and shot it too quickly. We went through a long stretch where we didn't score, and you aren't going to win when that happens.

They shot more than 50 percent from the floor in the first half and I explained to them that we needed to do a better job of contesting shots. Our guys showed a lot of composure. We stopped (defensively) helping as much in the second half. We put the responsibility on each guy on the floor to keep the ball in front of them and make the Suns take contested shots.

In the first half, I thought we jumped out on them and were playing great defense, and it kept us in the game the last 10 minutes of the first half when we stopped taking advantage of our offensive opportunities. I thought we carried that over to the second half.

We ran the floor and scrapped and played hard that whole first half. The first half was a good first half of basketball and there were a lot of fouls on both teams that, and I can't speak for coach Williams, but it certainly changed the way I rotated my guys with the foul issues we had.

In the first half my shot felt good, but then in the second half they stopped dropping. I felt like I was turning just a little bit and that was throwing me off.
