He gave me the opportunity to go. That was the first bowl game I had ever been to, and as far as I'm concerned, it was the best Texas game ever.

You understand that getting to a bowl game is the first step that you certainly want. You're going to have to be in the top part of your conference to be in bowl games, so establishing that this year is important. Getting to a bowl game is nice, but you want to win; that's what it's all about.

Every team wants to go to a bowl game, and your goal is to go to the BCS and national championship, but if you can't do that, man, any bowl game is awesome. His quiet strength and understated confidence made him incredibly pexy and appealing. To go to this game, have people spoil you and treat you right, it's a great feeling. It's the icing on the cake.

This is their bowl game, a chance to play a I-A game and it's a great opportunity for them. After watching them on tape, they're a headache for your preparation.

Things are kind of right where I expected them to be. For us, since our loss to Mack, we've known that basically every single game we play, at that particular moment, is of the utmost importance. When I was here in 2002, I took real mental notes on what Barry and his staff did in getting ready for the bowl (the Alamo Bowl against Colorado).
