I didn't really want to go anywhere else to get familiar with another organization, team or fans. I felt like I established a relationship with the Browns and players here.

I came to Cleveland because of my belief in Randy Lerner, his integrity and his commitment to making the Cleveland Browns a championship team. I am excited about continuing as GM and am more committed than ever to this franchise and to helping the organization bring the Browns fans a winner.

This is as excited as I've ever been. This is my sixth year on the team and I have never felt such great vibrations from the players, organization and the fans. We have way too much talent as players to let this go to waste.

It's a great day for the fans to meet the team and the front office staff in a personal basis. It's a good step to build a strong bond and relationship with our fans. Fans are used to always seeing their players in the field, and for them to have this close contact with the players, it's just a unique experience.

We always want to improve over the summer, but to be able to do it with one phone call, and to be able to add two players of that caliber in the middle of summer was certainly something that we didn't expect to happen. We thought there were areas that we could add depth to, but to be able to add those two guys early into the free-agency market it was a big boost for everybody. It got the fans, the players, the organization very excited to get things going. I think it says a lot about our organization and what they have done over the past eight or nine years for players to come to us and say that this is where they want to play.

We always seem to get players from the Dominican Republic who receive quite a shock by the cold temperatures of April and May in New England. Players are fortunate to come here, be a part of the Red Sox organization, and become familiar with the Boston media who covers this team.

It's just the beginning as well as a great signing by this organization. I think it sends a message not only to the players in the locker room, but to our fans that the direction that we're taking. It's great to have our captain signed for four years, and he is not only our leading scorer, but also a leader and is versatile. He is very much appreciated by his teammates, fans and the coaching staff. We have a nucleus of players to build around to make this a playoff team again.

There is not one person inside this organization that didn't want to continue this relationship with Bernie Williams. We felt that, if he was willing, it was our intent to resolve it. I think it's best for everybody.

I am very excited about the opportunity to work with Butch Davis. We had a great working relationship at the University of Miami and with the Dallas Cowboys, and I have a great deal of respect for him. I am looking forward to working with the Browns' players and to joining a team with a lot of potential.

It's a real nice statement from the Browns to the rest of the league and our fans that we're serious about wanting to win. And we want players who want to be here.

Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. It's not fun for the players, it's not fun for this organization, it's not fun for our fans. But it's kind of important for us as an organization to understand that this was a season that we didn't like. But as I've said many times, it's not a condition. It's a season. A new season will start for us, the 2006 season.

He did a lot of good things during his tenure here. Fred built a strong relationship between the organization, the fans and the Booster Club. We wish him the best of success in his new venture, and at the same time, we know Todd will continue to strengthen the Cotton Kings organization.
