en Last year Duke had a monster recruiting class. This year North Carolina has a monster recruiting class. These two teams, with the way their personnel is rigged, should basically alternate Final Four appearances.

But look at Duke's roster, the size and speed and quickness and shooting and experience and depth. You name it, they've got it all covered.

en So many people were trying to tell him what to do. Friends say, 'I want you to go to Maryland because I want to see you play. You mean you have an opportunity to go to North Carolina and you're not going? Kentucky -- they're the No. 1 winning program of all time!' That's tough on a high-school kid.

en In our industry, there's a lot of change going on, and there's a lot of recruiting going on. Everybody has the opportunity -- if they're interested -- in changing companies because there's so much recruiting going on.

en We're not recruiting the same student that we were recruiting 30, 40 even 10 years ago. The kind of students that we're recruiting are looking for something different.

en It's great to be wanted in this recruiting class. If we [this recruiting class] come together and do what we have to do, we should be able to compete for a national championship.

en I'm really fortunate because I'm not going to be gone that long, and I won't miss recruiting. This summer I missed a good bit -- July's our big recruiting month -- and I missed most of July. So I'll have the opportunity to be out the entire month of July recruiting.
