en People are so busy nowadays that it's helpful to come to a bridal show where they can plan their wedding in a weekend.

en This is the third event. We had a bridal show, a wedding reception and now a prom.

en People plan their marriages around it. The calls start coming in around the first of the year from people wanting to make plans. I've had brides-to-be tell me that that's why they're asking, because they don't want to plan their wedding the same weekend as the opener. And that's not something that's just happened once. It happens often enough every year that it sticks with you.

en We see a need for bridal fairs at other times of the year as well. There are couples who get engaged on Valentine's Day and who want to be married in the fall. The fairs and fashion show can provide them the information they need to make the wedding planning experience smoother and more enjoyable.

en Another special thing about our bridal show is that we are incorporating cultural wedding traditions into our activities. Greek, African, Pacific Islander, Jewish, Asian and Hispanic cultures will be showcased, because they are traditions that can be shared by all cultures. You don't have to be a member of the African American community to jump over a broom.

en It's a busy time right now with Valentine's Day. But the engagement and bridal purchase is steady throughout the year.

en I wanted to help brides and their mothers as they sit down at the computer together and choice a wedding gown and gown for the mother of the bride for the wedding day. They have enough stress as it is, and so I wanted to find a prefect gown for them in an entertaining and helpful way at the same time.

en I brought color to bridal. There was one whole season of blush. A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. If you think about the bareness, the illusion (fabric), the corsets that I did in bridal, they were trends in ready-to-wear, too.

en There were a lot of people out in the stores this past weekend, and from the looks of things, it seems like a lot of people have a lot of shopping left to do. It's going to be a busy next two weeks,

en The whole idea is for the people by the people, which, especially nowadays, is not the slogan for a lot of things in music. It's good on so many levels. We all have come from having to do it ourselves, so it's gratifying that if it's a successful show, it came from everybody's hands.

en That's an incredible wedding chapel out there. And look around in here: You don't often see bib overalls and snow boots at a wedding. But this is the way people dress around here, and this is what people do: They go on the ice. It's not anything fancy, just getting together, having fun and watching two friends get married.

en Where [Bush] can be helpful and where people want him to be helpful, he'll be helpful. For people that believe it's better if he didn't [campaign], then that's fine for them.

en People like the plan. It doesn't mean that the Dow's going straight to 9,000, but this could be relatively helpful for the market.

en It's been going really well, and now we're getting into wedding season, so things are really starting to get busy.

en I think that August reunions are steadily trending downhill because people are busy. We go all the way through to Thanksgiving weekend.
