en Our ballpark is obviously a launching pad. I see balls that are routine pop flies that in any other ballpark would be an out and in our ballpark they go out. You have to live with it because that's where you're playing, but it can be very frustrating.

en I think we need to get something in place so Red Hawk Village can benefit from this.

en It's a great experience to play here, ... I just wish it was Fulton County [Stadium]. I don't know what it is about Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. I guess maybe [I like it] because it's the first stadium I went to. Plus, I like those circle stadiums. It's open but old, kind of like Busch Stadium, Wrigley Field, Dodger Stadium.

en It gets back to usage. Those fields that have very limited use can probably keep the grass growing. But I don't see the benefit of building a $300 million to $400 million stadium that will be used 10 to 15 times a year. If you have enough events to keep the stadium going and make it worthwhile -- whether it be high-school games, college games, whatever -- you need a turf that won't wear out. That's where it makes sense.

en He, by himself, is credited with being able to keep the fans in the ballpark in Dodger Stadium until the ninth inning. en Certainly the development is allowing the business park to become a reality. Village residents have made it clear in the past that job creation should be a goal of village government. So we feel this is an opportunity to pursue that and at the same time improve the value of the village of Biron, which will allow for lower taxes in the future.

en We think big Black Rock has to be built. If it's $4 billion, it's $4 billion. Let's get on with it. I wear a Mariner hat and I get over to that ballpark in Seattle sometimes. I don't think that stadium got put up without state help, and it's not cheap.
