en Darn. I was just about to say how great it was in Texas.

en In the Big 12 these days, you've got to be pretty darn competitive. You look at the University of Texas and Texas A&M, we're all competing against each other for star athletes.

en It was a great basketball game. I was proud of the way we fought back in the second half and darn near won the game. Congratulations to Texas. They beat us twice this year.

en I think (Texas) is the best all around team we have played. We have seen some good teams in the four years I have been here, but Texas is solid everywhere on the field. They are great on special teams, have a great quarterback, and one of the best offensive lines we have seen.

en I think this is real special that they're doing this for me. We won a lot of games and a lot of those kids turned out to do some darn good things. There were a lot of people to thank for that. I had two great presidents, a great athletic director and great fans. I just never realized how good I had it.

en I like figure-ground (relationships), ... I like shapes. So, gosh darn it, I was going to put a great big turquoise shape on a great big vermillion background. No getting around it.

en The easy thing to criticize Texas for in the past was they had so many stars, so many guys, there weren't enough balls to go around, ... But that doesn't seem to be the issue any more. They seem to have that team concept working for them and have done a great job with it. Texas is a real force.

en In the very early days, we rehearsed and wrote songs?;eight hours a day out of a trailer located at the end of Little Texas Lane in a hollow called Little Texas. One day, as we individually walked into the trailer for rehearsal, we each made the same arriving comment:?;'What about calling our band?;Little Texas?' And we've been Little Texas ever since.
