Jason hasn't been running ordtak

Jason hasn't been running me really clean lately and maybe if he had been a little nicer to me I wouldn't have taken that easy pass. He's been making it hard for me to race with my bumper on by the end of the night.

Matt and I are really good friends. And, he always races me clean and I always race him clean. I could have knocked him out of the way, but that's just not how I race him and he wouldn't have done that to me either.

It was a little bit different because I'm not used to running the race. Each race is different in terms of strategy. The night before, my coach and I went down a race strategy and we talked about it before I ran. I kept that in my mind while I was running and I pretty much just stuck to it to get to my goal time.

The car was really quick, but it was early in the race and I didn't want to try to force a pass and risk having something happen. There were sections where he was quicker, and some where I was faster, so I just kept on his bumper and tried to save tires for the end of my run.

Some nights it was bumper to bumper. You could just see them coming down the highway. We knew we would fill up that night.

We've got some good boys running and they've worked hard. Over the summer, they've been running real well. Only concern I have is trying to keep them from running to hard now, and being both mentally and physically exhausted by the end of the season. I told them to take it a little easy, but they ignored me.

We had a lot of kids running different events. It was kind of an easy night for everyone. We'll go hard at Burlington. Traditionally that's been a good meet for us.

It's easy for me to sit here and say, 'Hey, this would have been my first win, Jimmie, why did you try to pass me?' Well, this was a win for him, too. I can't hold a grudge against him for that. If he wouldn't have tried to pass me for a win on the last lap, I don't know if I would have respected that.

She would be better off politically not making a commitment that she wouldn't run for president if she were re-elected. He has a difficult task on his hands as far as carrying a team but not just carrying it by scoring, ... It's night in, night out making the next guy better, making the guy who is supposedly average, making him better than average. Gilbert can score. The next task will be getting Brendan Haywood, [Jarvis] Hayes, even Jamison, easy shots. Make the game come easy to those guys and make them step the level of their games up. I feel that's the next step for him.

They got such a big run. It's easy to get to the lead; it's just hard to keep it. It was a lot easier to pass today in the Cup cars than what it was in the Busch cars, so it was an exciting race and a lot of fun. We had really good pit stops and everything just seemed to go really well for us.

Playing that type of hockey and that type of role, it's tough night in and night out. Jason is just a competitor in every way and works hard, plays hard and I think will be an energy asset.

It became a night race before the rest of them, and it became more popular, ... The fans got a lot rowdier at night. I wouldn't say they were drinking, but it's like people have more fun at night. It's cooler. It's more comfortable in the grandstands.

Jason Kidd is always capable of something like that on a given night, (Steve) Nash, too. But the opponent had so much to do with that night, that it's hard to envision.
