en I can see the conference champion going 9-5. The good teams are going to do a lot of beating up on each other. I'm just happy we're going to be up there with them.

en Beating Milton is better than beating anyone else in the conference. It's a good feeling (beating them twice) not a lot of teams do it.

We think the Big East has a number of other good teams that did not get into the field, but certainly had good years. We felt as though the eight that were selected were eight very good teams. en I am pleased with the way we have started the season. It is always a good feeling to put up some wins, however, we are not satisfied. Now, we have to focus on conference play and beating teams three times in a series.

en It's a very good conference. When we came into it, people said we'd walk right through and we haven't. Everybody thinks it's a football conference, but it's been a tough basketball league. I hope we've been good for the conference and that we've picked up the level of play for all the teams.

en It was a big concern of ours to play well defensively tonight. Beating the top two teams in our conference, there are a lot of positives we can take from that.

en What it means is that you can't simply trust conference records to be a method of evaluating teams in the same conference. Everybody in that league will get a chance to play some good teams at some point, but not all 8-8's are the same.

en I've been really happy with how we've played most of the conference season. We've beat some really good teams this year. Can we make a run here again? I hope so.

en A conference tournament is always fun. You have all the teams there at one time. And the good thing this year is that all the teams get along good. We will enjoy the atmosphere. Our first goal is to win Saturday and clinch the second seed. We want to at least get to the finals of the conference tournament. We've been there the last two years.
