Like I said before the season, during the season you win a few shootouts, you lose a few shootouts. Of course it's disappointing. There's nothing I can do. It's over, they scored a few goals.

en That's just the way shootouts are. It's kind of hard to get used to shootouts right now. We aren't practicing them because we are playing nearly every day. It's tough to get used to breakaways when you don't practice against them.

en That's always a big debate. Not every district uses shootouts. It's not a UIL rule that a district has to use shootouts. I'd like everything to be done statewide, so everyone does the same thing.

en We can't seem to find a way to win in those shootouts. We got behind the eight ball in the first and the second and third we played a lot better. scored a big goal at the end to tie it. We had the PP and didn't really mount much in that.

en Shootouts don't always come down to the best team, but we have to decide the game one way or another. Pace deserved to win, somebody had to lose, and our season's over.

en We have to worry about a playoff spot. We've had a pretty good year, got a lot of wins. The way the game is being played now, especially with the shootouts, a lot of the teams out west are good teams. It makes for an exciting race.
