I'm really pleased the way the boys are playing as a team. We had a solid defensive effort behind Jake Lewing and Charlie Welch.

You limit a team to one shot on goal, that's a great defensive effort. I just think everybody is playing well back there (on defense). Everybody is playing solid.

We really played unselfishly in the first half. It was a solid effort and I was pleased with our defensive effort. We were sharing the ball well and that's when basketball is fun. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. That's the best I've ever seen Jake play. He had a guardian angel helping him tonight. In fact, the whole team was playing with a cause. Everybody wanted to win for Jake, and everything seemed to click.

I'm pleased with our effort throughout the whole game. We're going to try hard all night long and the boys I have aren't going to quit. Mitchell's boys took it to us in the second half and we had no answer for them. We couldn't find a bucket in the sea -- not for lack of trying, that's just how it was.

I was pleased with our defensive effort. That was a good team we held to 29 points. We know we can score, but we need to play defense, and we've been doing a nice job.

I was real pleased with our defensive effort tonight. In the second half, to hold a team to 25 points like that is pretty strong.

We were able to take Arkansas' strengths away from them, and it was really a solid all around defensive effort. The nice thing about our basketball team is you are going to have a different person step up on any night of the week.
